Running for Kids

Here's a fun opportunity for your kids (ages 12 and under) to get running and have some fun. Each participant recieves a ribbon for completing the race. Hosted by Illinois Valley Striders, Monday evenings May-June, at Proctor Hospital path.  See the website for more details.

Annual Yard Sale!

Reminder for the Rolling Acres Annual Yard Sale, Saturday, June 8, 9am-1pm (rain date Saturday, June 15). If you plan to participate that day, please send $5 to the PO Box listed on the Contact Page along with your name and address, postmarked by June 1st. Money will go for advertising in the paper, which fee has continued to increase each year. Maps will also be made and posted on this website the week of the sale. Notice of Work in Rolling Acres

Ameren is planning to replace the gas main and a number of the gas services in several sections of Rolling Acres (see map below) beginning in early June. Existing steel pipe will be replaced with plastic. This is in continuation with the work they have done the past couple summers.

They will have a contractor doing the work, with an inspector from Ameren on the project at all times. Ameren will be responsible for the clean-up and restoration of the grass areas, along with pavement or sidewalk replacement where needed.
