March 20 Meeting Followup

Great meeting this evening! We had several new faces - always great to see!

Thank you to John Kunski for taking the time to come speak with us this evening.  He introduced himself and gave his experience and then opened it up for questions. He is running for 4th District City Council (Bill Spears will not be running again). Voting day is April 9th, however look for early vote opportunities as well.

Date set for annual neighborhood yard sale!  Saturday, June 8th, 2013. If you plan to participate that day, please send $5 to the PO Box listed on the Contact Page along with your name and address, postmarked by June 1st.  Money will go for advertising in the paper, which has continued to increase each year.  Maps will also be made and posted on this website the week of the sale. See the Events Page for additional information.

Question was brought up this evening about recycling old tv's and computers - they are not to be put in the trash.  Retro-Tech does accept some items, please see their website for details. If anyone knows where to properly dispose of the other items, please leave a comment to share with us.

Also, old medicine should not be thrown out with the trash, or flushed down the toilet. The Police Department was the only place known to properly have them disposed.

Please share this website with your neighbors! By submitting your email address in the box to the right, you will be sent an email each time there is a new post. The email is not seen by anyone or used for anything else.
